Corinne Filer has a B.Sc.N. from the University of Toronto.  She has been working as a Public Health Nurse in Toronto and in Hamilton for the past 28 years.  Presently, she is working in the area of Violence Prevention, specifically bullying reduction and prevention. This work includes the coordination of a school-based program at the elementary level, Supporting Caring Schools: Bullying Prevention and Intervention, which is based on the results of an evaluated 2-year pilot project.
